   I love red-winged black birds. When we lived in Illinois, I especially loved to see them fly over the black fields with bright green new shoots of corn just coming up. That area is now part of the Mediwin Tall Grass Prairie and the new National Cemetery.

      Thanks for the note Patty. Love the image you paint and glad to know it’s now part of the Mediwin Tall Grass Prairie and the National Cemetery. Their sound is amazing too!
